What We Want:

As Director of Paid Media at Spring Venture Group, you are responsible for creating and implementing a robust media strategy for SVG and our family of brands. You will enable our cross-functional marketing team to deliver world-class campaigns that drive customer acquisition. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success developing, launching, and scaling marketing acquisition and demand generation programs across online and offline channels including: TV, radio, direct mail, social, display, and email.   Additionally, this individual will possess superior analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing programs that drive response and build brand awareness across digital and traditional channels
  • Align on and manage attribution policies that effectively measure the efficacy of marketing campaigns
  • Develop and manage RFP processes with external marketing partners to execute campaigns that meet performance objectives
  • Identify, onboard, and manage external agency and marketing partners to execute campaigns
  • Communicate daily, weekly, monthly and lifetime performance reports with key stakeholders
  • Design and execute ongoing testing (creative, market, dayparting, frequence and, cadence)
  • Expedite media plans by monitoring schedules, proofing content and graphics, verifying placements and resolving technical and non-technical roadblocks
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and track developments across the industry
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, keeping us a step ahead of our competitors
  • Consistently seeks out and tests new strategies, tactics, and technologies that advance the company’s demand generation and acquisition efforts

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of active/hands-on experience managing acquisition marketing and demand generation programs leveraging direct mail, TV, radio, and display
  • Experience developing direct response campaigns leveraging both cash-based marketing models as well as per-inquiry, cost-per-call, and/or performance-based marketing models
  • Significant experience leading the development and testing of creative that drive efficient, qualified response across channels
  • The ability to develop and execute detailed marketing forecasts both nationally and locally 
  • Experience and comfort managing with large-scale marketing budgets
  • Strong analytical mindset and an ability to digest data and understand key drivers that impact program performance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Insurance or B2C sales industry experience a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, compliance, finance, and technology teams to accomplish objectives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to foster deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ambitious, results-driven individual that enjoys working as a team, but can also thrive independently
