    What We Want

    The Software Test Engineer is responsible for the quality and testing of moderately complex systems in both a manual and automated fashion. They will also define testing that needs to happen prior to deploying the systems and features into production, implement and execute tests, and collaborate with other members of a cross-functional team in order to ensure appropriate testing is done.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with business owners, operations and developers to define functional test cases
    • Work with developers to ensure that defined test cases are correctly developed and executed in automated manner as part of each build
    • Support Product Delivery leadership in tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
    • Execute manual testing where automated testing is not feasible
    • Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization

    Qualifications

    • Experience with API testing (web services, preferably REST)
    • Experience with test automation and continuous integration
    • Proven success in contributing to a team environment
    • Good communication skills
    • Experience with the following tools and technologies (or something similar): SQL, UFT, Selenium, PostMan, Swagger, consuming REST APIs, Jenkins
