    What we want:

    Spring Venture Group is looking for a Director of Learning and Development to assess training and development needs and create solutions that enhance and sustain our talent and leadership capability. This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with our Senior Leaders to implement talent initiatives that engage, align, develop and retain the necessary talent to achieve Spring Venture Group’s strategic goals. This role will be critical to enabling organizational performance and effectiveness. Our ideal candidate will be able to implement strategies and programs focused on continuous learning and development at all levels of the organization. Additionally, the Director will partner with the Sales Academy Leadership team to align sales-specific training and development with the overall organizational learning and development strategy.


    • Develop and drive learning and development strategy including delivery of programs to strengthen individual skills and competencies, and drive a culture of continuous learning and improvement
    • Partner with the VP, Talent and Chief Sales Officer to build an organizational development roadmap that will ensure leadership continuity and career progression for employees
    • Co-lead the Learning and Development Governance Committee with Sales Academy Leadership to align learning and development initiatives and goals across the organization aimed at providing the best training and development opportunities for employees
    • Conduct organizational needs analysis, collaborating with business unit leaders, and recommend proposed solutions to meet business challenges
    • Lead the Learning and Development Team to successfully deliver projects and initiatives
    • Establish pre-training and post-training metrics, training evaluation tools, program effectiveness assessments and address needs for improvement when necessary
    • Lead the selection and implementation of learning and technology tools (such as LMS) to deliver training programs that include virtual instructors and eLearning
    • Collaborate with talent leaders (HRBP, Talent Management Leader, and Talent Acquisition) to integrate solutions for employee and leadership training and development
    • Facilitate and deliver instructional led learning content to a variety of audiences


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 5 - 9 years of experience leading a learning and development function
    • Experience establishing a learning and development strategy
    • Building and delivering a variety of learning and development programs
    • Experience managing a variety of learning projects using solid project management methods
    • Experience managing a small team
